Britt was born and raised in the Netherlands and has had a passion for music, acting and dance since she was a little girl.
Before Lockdown, she was playing the part of Carlotta Guidicelli in one of West End’s longest running shows, ’The Phantom of the Opera’ at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London.
After highschool she studied at the Frank Sanders Academy for Musical Theatre in Amsterdam, and has since had starring roles in musical productions of Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, Hairspray, Legally Blonde and Footloose. Dutch audiences may also recognise her from her TV appearances on shows such as Beat the Best and The Voice of Holland.
From 2015 to 2016 Britt worked with the West End Director Tony Edge, playing the Killer Queen in the hit musical We Will Rock You, which inspired her to move to London to pursue her West End dream.
Starting her UK career in Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds where she played the Baddie in Beauty and the Beast in 2016. Panto was something new to Britt, but she absolutely fell in love with this British Tradition. ( Snow White in 2017 at the Cresset in Peterborough and Sleeping Beauty in 2018, back at Theatre Royal. )
In 2018 she toured the UK as the principal vocalist in Pasha Kovalev’s theatre show ‘The Magic of Hollywood’.
In April 2019 she was one of the Finalists in BBC1’s TV Show ALL TOGETHER NOW , and she also made an appearance on the Dutch version in June 2019.
As well as working in Musical Theatre, Britt has also written and performed her own one woman show in The Netherlands and in London and can add Singer/Songwriter and Voice-over artist to her list of accomplishments.
